Suzuki may announce a significant price increase for the Swift in the near future

Suzuki may announce a significant price increase for the Swift in the near future. After 11 years, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) officially introduced the new generation of Swift on February 24th, with a high price tag. According to the auto journal pk, the carmaker is expected to raise the price of its premium hatchback to Rs. 300,000 in less than a month.

Suzuki priced the Swift GL manual (basic variant) at Rs. 2.5 million, the GL CVT (middle variation) at Rs. 2.7 million, and the GLX CVT (top variant) at Rs. 2.9 million. After the price increase, the mid variant will cost Rs. 3 million, and the top model would cost Rs. 3.2 million, which does not seem rational given that there are better alternatives in that price range.
Although the firm promises to “service Pakistan’s biggest and underprivileged people,” the purported price increase may surprise customers, particularly those who have recently reserved the Swift. Keep in mind that Suzuki has yet to confirm anything, so take it with a grain of salt.
The carmaker had planned to sell its premium hatchback at Rs. 3 million, but it decided against it and was praised at the launch event for keeping its price below Rs. 3 million.
A price rise for the Swift may have an impact on its sales and general appeal, as potential customers may choose rival cars in the same price range.
The price of the new Suzuki Swift 2022 in Pakistan has been announced, as Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has officially introduced the new model of the extremely popular hatchback after 11 years of its introduction in the nation. The business hosted a debut ceremony for the new Suzuki Swift 2022 in Lahore, where the versions and pricing of the vehicle were unveiled.
The new Suzuki Swift 2022 is available in three variants: the Swift GL Manual as the entry-level model, the Swift GL CVT as the mid-level model, and the Swift GLX CVT as the top-of-the-line model. Given the current state of the automobile industry, the vehicle’s pricing is acceptable.
